Cooking as Kitchen Science: A Recipe for Change. TEDx talk by Vayu Maini Rekdal

Diet-related diseases account for nearly half of U.S deaths; two thirds of the U.S population is obese or overweight. In addition, the U.S is facing major problems in its classrooms: science education is lagging. U.S students recently ranked 25th out of 31 countries in math and science. These problems impose significant burdens to individuals and society as a whole.

My solution? Kitchen Science. Let’s empower individuals with the health and the knowledge they need to reach their full potential in life.
