***SUNDAY, APRIL 29TH***
Tibetan Adventures: Cuisine and Culture.
9AM-12PM, ASIA HOUSE

You’re invited! FireBellies and Team Tibet are collaborating to make unique Tibetan food followed by a discussion about the important issues pressing Tibet, especially in the aftermath of the recent 35 self-immolations by Tibetans.

despite direct contact with Tibet, I think about my motherland all the time and keep up to date with Tibetan literature like no other. Like many Tibetan youth, I question the future of Tibet and the capabilities of Tibetan communities in exile and question my role in the Tibetan struggle.

During this event, freshman and Tibet activist Tenzin Lendey is hoping to not only share the art of making Tibetan dishes, but also to share her story, as a Tibetan that grapples with these issues every single day.
